Liberia Culture Ambassador Julie Endee has received a historic Patriot Award from the Liberian student Community.
The intuitions that awarded the Liberia Traditional Queen comprised of B .W. Harris Episcopal High School Student Council Government and the College of West Africa Student Council Governments.
Presenting the Patriot Award on Friday March 22, 2019 in Monrovia to the Liberia Culture Ambassador, Howa Kolubah and Success Toe, presidents of the two institutions’ student council governments said, based on the Liberia Traditional Queen Humanitarian Services to the less fortunate children including persons with disabilities, like the boy Semah Weeefor who she has made his dream become a reality, prompted them to bestow such an honor.
According to the student community leaders, Ambassador Endee has also been working to ensure that the peace of Liberia is sustained through public awareness initiatives.
Responding, the Liberia Culture Ambassador expressed gratitude to the administrators, instructors and the student’s council leaderships of the two institutions for the honor bestowed upon her.
She vowed to work with the B .W. Harris Episcopal School Council Government and the College of West Africa Student Council Government in educating the students about the importance of peace and stability in the country.
Ambassador Endee told the gathering that her organization the Liberia Crusader for Peace (LCP) is presently working with schools in others parts of Liberia building their capacity on the important of peace.
The Liberia Traditional queen further indicated that she was happy to partner with two historical institutions that are impacting quality education to Liberian students as was demonstrated during the programs by the students especially the girls.
She challenged the students to take the messages of peace to their respective homes and community, noting that peace is all that Liberians need.
She reflected on the challenging days of Liberians that resulted to the death of many Liberians due to conflict but called on Liberians to always seek peace and justice not war.
